Abstract and poster submissions are now open for the traditional clinical case competition dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ali Akberov, held within the framework of the 14th National Cardiology Congress, which will take place on 12–14 December 2025 at the Hilton Baku Hotel.

It is announced that the top 5 selected clinical case presentations will be published in the Azerbaijan Cardiology Journal, and the winner of the competition will have their registration for ESC 2026 Munich covered by the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology.

Submission requirements are as follows:

  1. The clinical case presentation must be prepared in Azerbaijani and should not exceed 700 words. Recommended formatting: Times New Roman, font size 12, single line spacing.

  2. The first page must include the following information:

    • Title of the clinical case

    • Author(s)

  4. Submitted clinical cases should be distinguished by the rarity of the pathology or by unusual aspects encountered during diagnosis or treatment.

  5. Special attention should be given to the quality of photo and video materials. These materials must be in JPEG, AVI, or DICOM formats. The quality of the materials is one of the key evaluation criteria. Low-quality videos obtained with mobile phones or similar devices will not be evaluated. All materials must ensure anonymity and contain no personal patient information.

  6. The text must not include the patient’s name, surname, or the name of the clinic.
