From 29 August to 1 September 2025, Europe’s largest cardiology event – ESC Congress 2025 – Madrid – took place. This prestigious congress brought together thousands of specialists from all over the world, creating a remarkable platform for discussing the latest scientific advances in cardiovascular health and for fostering the exchange of experiences.
On 30 August 2025, within the framework of the congress, the “Get Together” event was held at the Azerbaijan booth. The event gathered distinguished scientists and professors from many countries and provided a broad opportunity for scientific collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the discussion of international partnership prospects.

On the final day of the congress – 1 September 2025 – the honorable King Felipe VI of Spain added a special touch to the event with his presence. During the closing ceremony, ESC President Thomas Lüscher, Minister of Health Mónica García Gómez, and King Felipe VI delivered speeches, highly praising the scientific achievements of the congress and the dedicated work of cardiologists.
His Majesty King Felipe VI addressed the world’s cardiologists, emphasizing their vital role in society. He underlined that physicians stand on the front lines in the fight against diseases, and with their talent and dedication, they carry crucial importance for all humanity. Stressing that the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the strengthening of prevention are only possible thanks to their efforts, the King noted that doctors’ advice contributes to building a more responsible, informed, and resilient society. He highlighted their devotion to the profession, constant pursuit of knowledge, and advancement of science as values of the utmost importance. According to His Majesty, their achievements and discoveries influence scientific progress and contribute to making the world a better place.
Thus, the Madrid congress was remembered not only for its scientific progress but also for reaffirming the dedication of physicians and their mission to serve humanity.
