A free medical screening campaign for children was organized in Gala settlement by the Structural Heart Diseases and Pulmonary Hypertension Working Group of the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology.
The social responsibility initiative aimed to assess children's health status, contribute to the early detection of cardiovascular diseases, and raise awareness about the importance of preventive medical examinations. During the campaign, children underwent medical evaluations, their cardiovascular health was assessed, and recommendations for further examinations and specialized medical care were provided when necessary.
As part of the initiative, parents received educational information on the importance of early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases in children, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, and regular medical check-ups. The campaign also served as an opportunity to increase public awareness about preventive healthcare and the role of early intervention in improving long-term health outcomes.
The primary focus of the campaign was to support the protection of children's health, identify potential risk factors at an early stage, and contribute to the prevention of future cardiovascular problems. Such community-oriented initiatives play an important role in promoting public health and encouraging regular preventive medical assessments.
The Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology plans to continue implementing social and educational projects aimed at different population groups in the future. One of the Society’s key priorities is to support the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular diseases while contributing to the improvement of public health and well-being.
